Doug’s Enhanced Cream of Rice Cereal

Prepare two servings of cream of rice, substituting soy milk for the water.  Add 1/8 tsp of sea salt to the cooking cereal.  Follow package directions for thinner cereal.  While cereal is cooking over medium-low heat, and being stirred often, mix together, 1/4 C. water and ¼ Cup of non-fat powdered milk.

When cereal is cooked, stir in:

1 T. butter

1 tsp. organic raw honey

2 T. coconut oil

Milk mixture.

Sprinkle with 1/8 tsp of Spanish red saffron.  Serve.

(If no dairy is allowed, use all soy milk.  Use coconut oil and no butter.  Agave nectar can be substituted for raw honey.)
